Happy New Year! What are your goals for 2016?

Happy New Year!

Happy  New Year to my wonderful blog readers!  I hope you had fun last night – whether your idea of fun was staying up all night or going to be early, I hope you got to celebrate how you wanted.

Last year on this day, I offered a piece of advice…

2015 will be what you make of it.

I can wish you all the best things for 2015 and you can sit around imagining how great it will be.  But honestly, if you want 2015 to be great/better than last year/different/etc  then you’ll have to get up and do something about it.

And it will be 40% action and 60% your attitude about the things you have no control over.  Because, honestly, life is unpredictable.  You have to be able to roll with the punches.

So that was my wisdom from last year.  I wish I could say I made 2015 what I wanted it to be but I failed in a lot of ways.  But I want to make 2016 better!

I have lots of ideas in store for the blog this year that I actually plan to implement.  Instead of just sitting around thinking about them like I spend most of 2015 doing.

While you were ringing in the new year last night I was up writing 7 Ways to Spend Nothing This Month (so we can all have No Spend January) and The 2016 Clean Out Challenge (where we are going to purge our homes of 2016 items this year!)  I hope you will take the time to read them.  And I hope they can help you with your 2016 goals!

Stay tuned over the next couple days for the 2016 Savings Challenge, as well as money saving tips, ideas for better health in 2016, being more organized in 2016 and lots of crafts, coupons, kid fun and recipes this year!

What do you hope to learn or accomplish in 2016?  I would love to hear from you and know what you’re aiming for this year so I know what posts will best benefit my readers!  Thanks for being a reader!
