Chicken Parmesan Casserole

If you’re looking for a new recipe that’s quick, easy and yummy, let me show you my Chicken Parmesan Casserole to add to your recipe inventory!  All my ingredients (except for the breadcrumbs I already had on hand) came from Aldi!  Making it a very low cost meal too!



1lb boneless, skinless chicken cooked and shredded (or cubed)
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1-1/2 cup Italian cheese, shredded (more or less depending on your tastes)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
(optional) Penne or Ziti pasta cooked


Preheat over to 350 degrees

Add chicken to the bottom of your baking dish.

Pour spaghetti sauce on top

Add cheese.

Bake for 10-15 minutes until heated through.

Add breadcrumbs and bake another 5-7 minutes.

(optional) Serve over Penne or Ziti.   OR add cooked pasta to the bottom of the dish before layering other ingredients.  I’m trying to cut down on my bread/pasta intake so I opted to serve the pasta on the side for everyone else so I could eat it without the pasta.
