Everyone feels stressed out at some point in their lives. Many have trouble getting their stress under control and want help. Chicken Soup for the Soul: Say Goodbye to Stress: Manage Your Problems, Big and Small, Every Day combines inspirational Chicken Soup for the Soul stories written just for this book and accessible leading-edge medical advice from expert clinical psychologist and Harvard Medical School instructor Dr. Jeffrey Brown, will encourage, support, and help stressed out readers.
I don’t consider myself to be a “stressed” person. So when I scored a 173 one the Stress Inventory Test (indicating I was “mildly stressed” and only 26 points away from the “moderately stressed” category) I was surprised. I was also surprised to see positive things on the stress inventory test like “vacation”, “Christmas” and “outstanding personal achievement”. Another surprising thing was the list of 50 most common signs and symptoms of stress. I was shocked at how many of them I do!
But that’s ok, because I’m going to try the stress-busting Chicken Noodle and Sweet Potato Soup recipe in the book. Sounds delicious!
