Last $1 Doubles at Food Giant Bargain Brag

  Last Monday was a sad day!  It was the last day $1 coupons were doubled at Food Giant.  Here’s my results:

Cereal, garbage bags, kool-aid, peanut butter, seasoning mixes, aluminum foil, cat treats, Hormel compleats, soup mix, toilet bowl cleaner, plastic freezer bags and press ‘n seal – 26 items total

Total before coupons: $56.32 (which is a LOT for 26 items!!)

Coupon + doubles total: $29.18

Final cost: $27.14 (over 50%!)

Now, Food Giant only doubles coupons up to $.90.
