To be perfectly honest, the CVS deals since Black Friday have been less than stellar. I went to CVS the following week and got (sorry I don’t have a picture for this one) Colgate toothpaste that was free after ECBs, and a bag of Popcorn Indiana Popcorn and a box of Snackwells granola bars because I had store and manufacturer coupons on them that made them pretty cheap and we go through a lot of snacks.
I used $5.98 worth of ECBs and paid $.02 OOP (before tax) and got $2.87 in ECBs back. Which left me with $24.33 in ECBs.
Then the next week proved why it’s nice to have a lot of ECBs around – not that the deals were any better, but Bug was sick and we needed Pedialyte.
I got two things of CVS brand Pedialyte – type drinks, 2 Glade and Complete contact lens solution.
I spent $18.97 of my ECBs and spent $0 OOP (before tax) and got $8.99 ECBs back. Which leaves me with $14.35 in ECBs to spend.
Let’s see how much farther I can stretch them!
