As parents, all we really want is for our children to succeed, right? At whatever they chose to do, we wish the enormous success.
Dede at Better on a Budget is hosting a giveaway for a set of Progress Cards. What are Progress Cards, you ask? Created by Scott Ertl, elementary school counselor since 1996, Progress Cards were made to help record effective strategies for specific behaviors and issues. Recognizing that we are all “Works In Progress,” Scott strives to empower children to do 4 things:
1. Believe in yourself. You can truly accomplish whatever you put your mind to.
2. Seek out mentors to ask for help, encouragement, and support. Listen to them.
3. Stay aware of what you are working to improve. Recognize and celebrate your progress along the way.
4. When you get off track and make mistakes, learn from them.
