Valentine’s Day on a Dime – Part 2

We’ve been talking about how to keep Valentine’s Day inexpensive and simple. The first post was here.

And then I told you about the FREE bowling coupon valentine cards from Brunswick.
Print these out on some cardstock and send them with the kids to their school valentine’s party. They’ll be the hit of the class! And you can bask in the savings (I mean, 20 kids in a class, it can get pretty expensive buying them all candy!) and the fact that you didn’t give them candy!

Now, how about these ideas?

  • Recreate your first date (or your first Valentine’s Day or your proposal) to remind your special someone how the two of your started, how far you’ve come and that you’d do it all over again. :)
  • Write a sincere love note and frame it.
  • Cook dinner together instead of going out. Plan the meal and shop for the ingredients together. Then go home a prepare it together.
  • AllYou.com has 20 gifts under $20.
